As manufacturers in the agri-food industry, we take our responsibility and brand image seriously; we take every measure to ensure that products are healthy and safe, and manufactured in compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is why LHG has invested in food safety for many years. By updating and optimizing the HACCP system introduced in 2001, we ensure traceability from producers to customers in compliance with hygiene guidelines and good manufacturing practices.
Still, the limitations of the HACCP system have led us to pursue a new approach to standardize food safety requirements. In 2018, LHG began the process for IFS Food certification to further meet customer requirements; this was the logical next step in the current context for health and safety.
IFS Food better reflects the company’s policy when it comes to improving and maintaining the quality system.
In accordance with our analysis plan, these analyses are carried out in independent laboratories certified ISO 17025:2005.
We have worked hard over the years to ensure that our food safety management system complies with regulations.
