Black Pepper

Whole, crushed or powdered, our black pepper originates from Brazil, Vietnam or other Asian countries. It is GMO and nanomaterial free. Whole black pepper is the dried whole berry, usually picked before full ripening of Piper nigrum. The berries are brown, gray or black in color and have a wrinkled pericarp. The powdered black pepper is obtained by grinding. The grind can be light gray to dark gray depending on the origin of the pepper. The fact of finding small pieces of pepper is a characteristic criterion of quality.
