Organic Hot Pepper (Capsicum frutescens / traditional spice from organic farming), an aromatic spice with intense, powerful, and spicy notes, is ideal for spicing up spicy dishes, sauces, marinades, meats, and international cuisine. Prized for its stimulating and digestive properties, it adds warmth, intensity, and character to all your culinary creations. As an organically grown product, it guarantees a controlled level of heat and carefully selected quality.
Want to add a touch of heat to your seasonings? What could be better than hot chili peppers to spice up all your recipes! Used in many dishes, this condiment is an integral part of the culinary culture in several countries around the world.
We grow all kinds of chili peppers around the world. From bird’s tongue chili peppers to crushed hot chili peppers, we’re helping to develop organic chili pepper farming (in India, Madagascar, Uganda, and Spain) in partnership with a cooperative of local producers.
Grown using organic farming methods and freshly harvested, it retains all its flavor and nutritional value. When used sparingly, hot peppers offer numerous health benefits.
Did you know? The chili pepper is native to Bolivia. The name “bird’s tongue chili” comes from migratory birds, which are highly resistant to the chili’s heat. It has been around for nearly nine thousand years; pre-Columbian peoples were already using it to spice up their dishes and treat certain illnesses.
