ORGANIC WHITE PEPPER
Organic white pepper (Piper nigrum / traditional spice from organic farming), an aromatic spice with mild, slightly spicy, and subtly robust notes, is ideal for enhancing sauces, soups, fish, poultry, and refined dishes. Prized for its stimulating and digestive properties, it adds finesse, balance, and character to all your culinary creations. As a product of organic farming, it guarantees a pure aroma and carefully selected quality.
Organic white pepper is currently the most commonly consumed spice. There are four types of it, including white pepper. It closely resembles red pepper, but differs in the way the seeds are cleaned. This technique preserves its flavors and also results in a milder pepper, unlike black pepper. We are committed to working with local producers to highlight the expertise involved in growing this spice, while ensuring a high-quality product grown using organic farming methods.
Did you know? Organic white pepper is said to have been discovered more than 4,000 years ago on the Malabar Coast in India. It was in the 4th century B.C. that Alexander the Great discovered it as well, before deciding to import it to Greece.
