ROASTED COCOA BEANS (Theobroma cacao), an aromatic bean with warm, slightly bitter, and intensely chocolatey notes, is ideal for infusions, pastries, desserts, and artisanal creations. Extracted from the pods, which are opened at harvest and left to dry, cocoa beans vary in shape—they are flattened oval—and measure about 2.5 cm long by 1.5 cm wide.
After harvesting, our cacao beans are fermented and dried outdoors.

Origin and Quality
Our cocoa beans come from Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Uganda, and also São Tomé, a peninsular country off the coast of Central Africa.
Our beans are Guaranteed free of GMOs, allergens, and nanomaterials.
States and Packaging
Our cacao beans are the seeds of the cacao tree, which are used to make chocolate. They are extracted from the pods, which are opened at harvest and left to dry. Each pod contains 16 to 60 seeds. They vary in shape—they are flattened oval—and measure about 25 mm long, 15 mm wide, and 8 mm thick. After harvest, the cocoa seeds are fermented and dried to produce commercial cocoa beans.
