RED SANDALWOOD
Red Sandalwood (Pterocarpus santalinus / traditional wood), an aromatic with warm, woody, and slightly spicy notes, is ideal for flavoring infusions, herbal teas, ritual preparations, and culinary creations. One of its main uses has been as incense in India since time immemorial. It has also been used in the construction of Indian temples.
This species of sandalwood is found in many countries: Malaise, Australia, Venezuela, North America, Egypt, India, and sub-Saharan Africa.
Red sandalwood bark has many beneficial properties:

Origin and Quality
Source: Gabon, Cameroon
We harvest our red sandalwood by hand directly from the bark between October and November.

Sandalwood powder is obtained by chipping the wood from the tree trunk. Its deep purple color pairs perfectly with its sweet, woody aroma.
