ORGANIC GINGER
Organic Ginger (Zingiber officinale), an aromatic root grown using organic farming methods, offers warm, slightly lemony, and subtly spicy notes—ideal for flavoring exotic dishes, sauces, herbal teas, pastries, and beverages. Valued for its stimulating and digestive properties, it adds energy, freshness, and character to all your culinary creations. As a natural product, it guarantees an intense aroma and rigorously selected organic quality.
Organic ginger, native to India and belonging to the Zingiberaceae family, has been cultivated for over 3,000 years! Only its roots, also known as «rhizomes,» are edible and come in various forms. Whole or sliced ginger is the dried rhizome of Zingiber officinale Roscoe, in irregularly shaped pieces at least 20 mm long, or in small cut pieces, ranging in color from light buff to pale brown, fibrous, peeled and blanched, washed, and sun-dried. The dried rhizomes can also be ground.
With its particularly bold flavor, it will add some zest to your recipes! It’s frequently used to season a variety of dishes—and even some beverages. In some African countries, ginger-based beer is a common drink.
Known for its aphrodisiac properties, ginger has many other benefits. It helps relieve nausea and vomiting, and can also be used to treat migraines.
