LAVANDIN FLOWER
Lavandin in bloom (Lavandula × intermedia), an aromatic plant with fresh floral notes, slightly camphor-like and herbaceous, is ideal for making infusions, herbal teas, aromatic blends, cosmetics, and culinary garnishes. Lavandin flowers are grayish-purple and grow in spikes. Lavandin differs from lavender, which is more purple. and whose spikes are slightly wider. To be precise, lavandin is a hybrid of two plants: spike lavender (Lavandula latifolia) and true lavender (Augustifolia or Lavandula officinalis). This plant is grown at elevations ranging from 300 to 700 meters, on sunny slopes and rocky terrain. From June to September, lavandin blooms.
